Policies and Procedures
Studio Philosophy
At Just 4 Clicks and Moore!, we believe that students achieve their highest potential through quality instruction given in a caring, respectful, safe environment. We are better able to create this environment when parents and students abide by the following policies:
DROP OFF
To help ease traffic congestion and for the safety for our dancers, please enter from the south coming down 2175 S, turning left on Lake Mesa and pull in front of the studio.
If you have a younger dancer and would like to walk him/her in, please park on the road.
Cement and asphalt are VERY hard on taps. Dirt also adheres to the tap shoes, which causes the dance floor to be slippery. For these reasons, please wear street shoes into the studio and then change into your tap shoes.
Please do not drop your child off more than 5 minutes early, without making prior arrangements. This is a distraction for dancers who are still having their class.
PICK UP
We will stop dancing 5 min. prior to the end of class, to allow students to change their shoes and gather their belongings.
Dancers younger than 8 will be escorted out of the studio. We will hold your students in front of the garage until you either pull up to get them, or signal for us to send them to you.
Please DO NOT PARK and leave your vehicle in the driveway. If you need to come in to observe or get your dancer, please park on the street.
Observing Your Dancer
While we love to have parents watch their dancers, when PARENTS watch their dancers, the DANCERS watch their parents! The studio can be quite loud already and the added voices of parents and siblings chatting can be very distracting during instruct ion. Please adhere to the following guidelines:
a. Please only observe if your presence is not a distraction to your child.
b. Videoing your child’s dance is allowed and encouraged! Please do so during the last 15 minutes of class.
c. Do not bring siblings if possible. If they must come, please bring something for them to do.
d. Limit talking with other adults when an instructor is giving direction to dancers.
Be Prepared!
Dancers must have the following each week.
a. Appropriate shoes and taps for his/her class
b. Rec teams need to wear loose fitting clothing- dark bottoms and a light top preferred. Competition teams will need to wear studio branded attire.
c. Hair pulled back, away from face
d. Dance bag, etc. to keep track of street shoes
e. It is a great idea to bring a water bottle to class! You will get thirsty!
